WEP is active in the well engineering & well construction business and solution mining engineering since 1996. Our pool of WEP engineers represents the combined experience of contractors, operators and service companies in a unique configuration which delivers customized well engineering solutions for operators, service companies and governmental organizations.

WEP also has an extensive network of experts each with 20+ years of relevant experience, readily accessible to provide expertise and balanced views on areas such as mud and cement engineering, production chemistry, completion design, reservoir engineering geology and prototyping.

The managing directors of WEP are ir. Tom Bakker and ir. Alexander Nagelhout.

• Tom has an MSc Delft Mining & Petroleum engineering. Tom has a longstanding international career with Shell. At Shell Tom has specialized in well engineering and production technology. Tom left the Shell group in 1996 after being the NAM well engineering manager.
  
  
• Alexander also has an MSc. Delft Mining & Petroleum Engineering. Alexander has 12 years of international working experience including 7 with Shell. Alexander has specialized in drilling engineering and well engineering.
